MEET OUR STAFF

Nelson is the founder and managing attorney of Arcadia Law, PLLC, law firm dedicated to serving individuals, families, and small businesses with integrity, clarity, and personalized legal support.

A proud first-generation American, Nelson’s journey to the legal profession is marked by resilience and purpose. He immigrated to the United States as a child, became an Eagle Scout and became the first in his family to graduate from college and law school. He earned his undergraduate degree from Virginia State where he developed a deep commitment to community empowerment. He later obtained his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and was admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Before launching Arcadia Law, Nelson gained hands-on experience working for the Honorable Victoria A.B. Willis and the Honorable J. Overton Harris, Judges in Hanover Circuit Court. —skills that now define his approach to legal practice: proactive, empathetic, and client-focused.

Nelson founded Arcadia Law to make high-quality legal representation more accessible—especially to working families, immigrant communities, and small business owners navigating unfamiliar legal systems. His practice areas include family law, estate planning, general civil matters, and legal counsel for small businesses.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Nelson is committed to making legal services approachable for all clients. His firm is built on the belief that everyone deserves an advocate who listens, understands, and acts with integrity.

When he’s not practicing law, Nelson enjoys spending time with family, doing outdoor activities such as biking and trailblazing, and staying involved in local community efforts.

Samantha Benitez, Office Administrator

Samantha is the Office Manager, Case Specialist and Paralegal at Arcadia Law, PLLC, law firm dedicated to client services. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Business. Samantha also carries a degree in Accounting and Early Childhood Education.

Before joining Arcadia Law with her husband, Samantha gained hands-on experience working in healthcare as a Case Management Specialist at Bon Secours Mercy, where she advocated for patients, coordinated care transitions, and navigated complex systems. She is a powerhouse professional with hands on customer service experience. Before that, she was Program Coordinator for Bon Secours Family Center where she taught and cared for children ranging from toddler to Pre-Kindergarten ages.

While not in the office, Samantha enjoys spending time reading, crafting, gardening and spending time with friends and family, and shopping at Target.

Nelson Benitez, Attorney

Benjamin "Benji" Benitez, Office Paw-sociate

Benji is our newest paw associate or "pawsociate" of Arcadia Law. He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He was born on October 22, 2025 to dog parents, Sunflower Benji and Twilight in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. He loves to play with his toys and meeting new people! When he is not working, he loves to nap and lounge around the house.
